This water-based Universal Primer may be used on canvas, cardboard and wood with an absorbent character. It is superb for get ready surfaces for painting bringing a bright white opaque primer. Mont Marte Gesso may be painted on with acrylics and oils and may also can applied for a smooth surface. It’s Acid-free and provides an absorbent surface to paint on.
